We live in Boston, but not downtown so it feels like the suburbs. However, we have a narrow balcony as if we lived downtown. What’s a girl to do with her plants and wineglass? Problem solved:
When planting your flowerpots, leave room for a tile where you can then put your drink! I got these round tiles at my local thrift shop. There are some beautiful ones on etsy if you have money to spend. I leveled the dirt and then just set the tile on top. Now I can enjoy my plants AND a drink on the balcony. Celebrate the day!
April saw the transition from snow to rain, brown to green, and cold to cool.
From me to my sister:
Lavender lockers. When do you ever see those? Almost never.
I love a parade.
Trolley tour of Boston, cuz Boston Rocks.
Happy Earth Day.

“…by the light of the broken moon.”
My two best friends.
From my sister to me:
Snake in the outback.
Mom as The Rainbow Wizard. (Contender for the best picture of the year.)
“Raindrops keep falling on my head…”
Barn flooded. Had to dig a trench through the alleyway.
If a tree falls…..
So much rain….
One square at a time.
Just a tree.
Yarn I spun at a spinning class. The white yarn is from our sheep.
Sure wish this thing had smell-o-vision.
Everyday is a celebration. Document it.
